Your Body Isn't a Template.
Your treatment shouldn't be either.
Individualized therapeutic massage for women who are tired of generic treatment and want to feel capable, mobile and confident in their bodies again.
Maybe you've already tried physical therapy.
Maybe it helped — just not as much as you hoped.
You've done the exercises. Tried stretching. Had massage. Changed the way you move.
And yet you're still thinking about your back, hip, knee, shoulder or neck far more than you want to.
“How far can I walk?”
“Will this flare it up?”
“Can I get down on the floor with my grandchildren — and get back up?”
“How am I going to feel after that flight, that walk or that day out?”

You don't necessarily need another generic protocol.
And you don't need another massage that feels good for a day but leaves you right back where you started.
You need someone who takes the time to understand what is happening in your body.
Rachel Dixon brings more than 25 years of hands-on experience to every session, combining therapeutic massage with a whole-body approach and adapting what she does according to what she finds, how your body responds and what you want to get back to doing.
Because the goal isn't simply to help you feel better while you're on the table.
It's to help you feel more capable when you get off it.
Listen → Assess → Treat → Teach → Adapt
You bring me the problem. I determine the appropriate tools. You never need to arrive knowing which modality you need.
Listen
Your history, symptoms, previous treatment, concerns and goals — and what you want your body to let you do again.
Assess
The painful spot matters, but it may not be the whole story. I look at how you move and where you hold tension.
Treat
Massage, movement, stretching or other hands-on techniques where appropriate. Choosing is my job.
Teach
I explain what I'm noticing and give you practical things to consider outside the treatment room.
Adapt
Your body changes between visits. If something isn't helping, we reassess and adapt — no rigid protocol.
Maybe what you want is actually very ordinary.
Walk the dog without calculating the distance. Get out of the car without bracing yourself first. Garden. Sleep more comfortably. Sit through dinner without constantly repositioning. Travel without worrying about the flight, the hotel bed or the walking. Get down on the floor with your grandchildren — and get back up.
You don't need to become an athlete.
You want your ordinary physical freedom back.
Feel more capable in your body again.
Stop thinking about your body every time you want to live your life. Your first session starts with one simple question: “Tell me what's happening.”
